What is a stacker? Types, advantages and applications Stacker type

Portable stackers can be electric or manual and are primarily used in applications such as transporting and lifting pallets that do not require a forklift. Some of its applications include stockrooms, specialized warehouse departments, and small warehouses. They are ideal for transporting small-volume items within warehouses with delays of no more than 5 hours. The stacker is designed with small wheels, making it more suitable for indoor applications. The same small wheels make them recommended for flat concrete floors as well. With the advancement of technology, stacker cranes can be customized with large wheels according to your requirements and needs.
Categories of pallet stackers:

Stand on pallet stacker
1.Stand on electric stacker
The stand on electric stacker is specially designed to distribute the load weight and overcome the imbalance phenomenon during the application process. This portable stacker is ideal for applications involving low to medium level selective racking. They are best used in store rooms, customer area shelving and small warehouses. Allows for tighter pallet stacking, with a lifting height of 1500mm and up to 6000mm.

Scissor type electric stacker
2.Scissor type electric stacker
Scissor handling stackers are ideal for moving loads forward. When it comes to mid-level racking applications (including loading trailers, trucks and utility vehicles), scissor handling stackers are most suitable, with lift heights starting at 1500mm and can exceed 5500mm.

Balanced stacker

3.Balanced pallet stacker
The best part of the balanced stacker is the way it balances the weight to distribute the load, thanks to the longest overall length it can lift even the tallest lifting masts due to its balancing factor. They have proven to be best suited for lifting standard pallets. Unlike vertical ride-on stackers, counterbalanced stackers can be maneuvered even in narrow aisles and have a capacity of 1500mm, which can exceed 6000mm depending on the capacity.

Walkie type pallet stacker
4.Walkie type pallet stacker
Walkie type pallet are ideal for stacking pallets, shipping applications and moving bottomless pallets and bottomless containers. Another feature of this type of stacker crane is that, unlike other stacker cranes, they offer the smallest turning circle. The standard stacker increases the height from 1500mm to 5000mm, making it ideal for mid-level racking applications.

Manual pallet stacker
5.Manual pallet stacker
Manual stackers have limited lift heights and relatively slow functions, making them unsuitable for handling pallets. Therefore, they are useful in applications where handling volumes are very small and for general lifting purposes.
Main advantages of pallet stackers:
Stacker cranes have low upfront costs compared to other material handling equipment. Battery-powered electrical equipment has very low operating costs compared to electrical equipment running on diesel, natural gas, and LPG. Pedestrian electric stackers do not emit polluting fumes or make any noise. This aspect makes them suitable even for indoor material handling requirements. Lower energy consumption is their next attraction. They produce very little carbon emissions. Stacker cranes are highly maneuverable by nature and most of them can function even in tight spaces, which helps them increase warehouse capacity. Because the operators are smaller, they have a wide operator field of view. They are very useful when handling pallets in store rooms, specialized storage areas and storage rooms.
